How to Hang Your Hark Yearly Wall Planner

Your Hark planner is designed to be both beautiful and functional — and getting it up on the wall is easier than you might think. Everything you need is included in the box, and with a little care (and ideally an extra pair of hands), you’ll have it up and ready in no time.

What’s Included

Inside your planner box, you’ll find:

6 wall standoffs
6 screws
6 wall plugs

You’ll just need to supply:

A pencil
A ruler or measuring tape
A spirit level
A drill with a 5mm drill bit
A hammer or rubber mallet
A screwdriver

Tip: This is much easier with two people — one to hold the planner in place and one to mark or drill.

1. Mark Your Spot

Decide where you want your planner to live. Using a pencil and ruler, lightly mark where the top edge of your planner should sit on the wall. This helps you visualise placement and ensures it’s at a comfortable height to use daily.

Take a moment here — once it’s up, you’ll be seeing it every day.

2. Line It Up

Hold the planner against the wall, aligning the top with your pencil marks. Use a spirit level to make sure it’s perfectly straight.

Once level, mark the wall through the six mounting holes to show where each screw will go. Double-check your measurements before moving on.

3. Drill Time

Using a 5mm drill bit, carefully drill into the centre of each marked point.

If you’re drilling into plaster or masonry, go slowly and steadily.

(Maybe warn the neighbours first — just in case.)

4. Plug It In

Push the wall plugs into each drilled hole. If they don’t sit flush straight away, gently tap them in with a hammer or rubber mallet until they’re level with the wall.

5. Screw It In

Take the standoff bases and thread the screws through them, then screw them into the wall plugs. Make sure all six standoffs are secure and sitting evenly against the wall.

Tip - Don't push to hard or the plug can get pushed into the wall.

6. Mount & Secure

Carefully position your planner over the standoffs, lining up the holes. Attach the screw caps to secure the planner in place.

Step back, check everything is straight, and admire your work.

Tip - There is a protective film over the front of the planner that can be peeled off from the corner. Once removed, your planner will be perfectly clear and ready to use
